KEYT LOMPOC, Calif.- The historic Lompoc Theatre is now a big step closer to its grand reopening. The Lompoc Theatre has not been open to the public in 20 years. But that will soon change. Thanks to a 150-thousand dollar matching-grant from the Chumash Tribe. That was donated with the hope of creating a hub of entertainment in Downtown Lompoc. The nonprofit group behind the theatre's restoration plans to host a variety of experiences including stand-up comedy nights, cultural events, political debates, art and film festivals, holiday celebrations, and of course concerts and movies.
