A YouTube influencer and pilot has agreed to plead guilty to intent to obstruct an investigation into a plane crash that he's admitted to staging, as he parachuted to safety and filmed both the crash and his own harrowing escape in order to make money on the video, which has now been viewed almost 3 million times. Trevor Daniel Jacob of Lompoc, California, has agreed to plead guilty in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles to one count of destruction and concealment with the intent to obstruct a federal investigation that began in November 2021, just a day or two after the crash, according to federal prosecutors.
